Ka Prao Mo Sub or Thai minced pork with holy basil and crispy fried egg is a very popular Thai street food dish! It’s absolutely delicious and perfect with a Thai chilli dip called Nam Pla Plick.

Ingredients

Thai Jasmine Rice
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
7 cloves garlic, sliced
3 Thai bird eye chillies, thinly sliced
1 cup minced pork
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon thin/light soy sauce
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
1/3 cup water
holy basil leaves (about 1 1/2 cups packed) you can use normal basil if you cannot find holy basil

Steps
Add cooking oil on hot pan, add garlic and chilli then minced pork.
Add onion and bean then seasoning with soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce and sugar. Stir well add some basil and a little bit of water.
Stir well and serve with rice and fried egg.
