Delivery and Returns
Delivery and return times depend on whether you are ordering to the UK or to Europe and how large your order is. For more information on what delivery service and times you can expect please read below and always check your email confirmation upon purchase.
All Essence of Thailand orders on products that are in stock are processed within 24 hours and, if possible, we aim to dispatch within this time frame. Our orders are always sent via couriers directly to your home, office, shop, or restaurant.
Please note that for larger wholesale and supermarket orders we offer same day and next day chilled distribution to ensure highest quality.
We take the freshness of our products very seriously and all products that require chilling, or that are sensitive to temperature changes, will be dispatched in insulated boxes with ice packs.
Order and Dispatch
All of our in stock item orders are dispatched within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Upon checking out you will be able to see when we expect the product to be ready, dispatched and delivered to your home or business.
Please note that fresh produce is picked from our farms in Thailand. We pride ourselves in quality, fresh products straight from native country. Once you have placed an order for fresh produce it will be sent to our team in Thailand who will process it - meaning your produce will be physically picked and packaged on our farms. Once ready, it will be sent from Thailand to the UK where your fresh products will be handled through our chilled warehouse and immediately sent to your doorstep using next day delivery.
Below are expected dispatch and delivery times upon receiving your order:
In stock items - Next day delivery
Large grocery orders - Two to four day delivery
Fresh produce from Thailand - Five to seven day delivery
All UK orders are sent using tracked couriers. Once you have placed an order you will receive an email confirmation with an estimated day of delivery. Please note that fresh produce picked from our farms in Thailand may take time and dates for these orders may change slightly, however, we will always keep you updated as to where your order is.
Our deliveries are Monday to Friday, for more information on when you can expect a delivery please look at our Order and Dispatch section. We cannot guarantee an exact time for deliveries and cannot be held responsible for delivery issues once the order is dispatched and with couriers.

Deliveries to European countries are dispatched via tracked couriers. All of our orders are sent out Monday to Friday and will normally take one to three days to arrive, depending on your location and local couriers.
Once you have placed an order we will send out a confirmation email with an estimated delivery date.
Returns and Refunds
Whilst we work our hardest to make sure all of our products are checked for quality and it is unlikely that you will experience any problems, we do appreciate that sometimes problems may occur.
All of our products are sent in protective packaging and, where appropriate, ice packs - should an item arrive in poor condition we ask that you take photos immediately. Once you have taken your photos please contact us using the contact form here, or email us using the address shown on your order confirmation.
All enquiries will be reviewed and we will contact you to speak about the problem and to agree to a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Please note all fresh produce cannot be returned. If for any reason you change your mind about purchasing fresh products please contact our team as soon as possible to check whether the order can be cancelled.
