Our UP Tapioca flour is made from the extracted root of the Cassava Plant. It is also known as Tapioca Starch.
In Thailand Tapioca Flour is widely used to make desserts, for coating food before frying, and can also be used as a thickener for soups and gravies, etc. For thickening it should be made up in a similar way to cornflour, adding it to cold water and mixing well before adding to your recipe.
